Last night was the world premiere of the new HBO series “VEEP”. The highly anticipated comedy is said to be both brilliant and biting–and many are predicting it to be the next major HBO hit. The satire stars Seinfeld alumna Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, a former senator trying to get her bearings straight as vice president of the United States. The premiere was held at the Time Warner Screening Room in NYC. Attendees included the show’s star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Timothy C. Simons, Matt Walsh, Reid Scott, Sufe Bradshaw, Bob Simon, Peter Cincotti, Fran Lebowitz, Morley Safer and more.
