Shanghai Tang has just opened its new flagship store on the historic Duddell Street on Hong Kong Island. As the largest Shanghai Tang store in the world, the new space spans three stories and 15,000 square feet.
The new flagship store features art deco motifs mixed with hints of traditional Chinese design for a modern yet elegant feel full of color, fabrics, unique designs and prints.
Executive chairman Raphael le Masne de Chermont said, “We are excited to introduce our next milestone. The Shanghai Tang Mansion represents our commitment as the Global Ambassador of Contemporary Chinese Chic, and we feel honored to play a part in revitalizing a historic Hong Kong street with a modern retail and lifestyle destination. The Year of the Dragon promises to be an exciting time for Shanghai Tang. We will unveil our next plans soon, including additional inspiring retail spaces around the world.”
The new store is open from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m Monday-Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
