New York-based luxury women’s wear brand Oscar De La Renta has made an agreement to pay $793,000 for a 10-year lease for its first boutique in London.

Founded in 1965, Oscar De La Renta is known for its $5,150 silk organza cocktail dresses. Though their high-end products are currently sold in London at Harrods Ltd. and the A La Mode boutique in Chelsea, the new space will be the brand’s first London store dedicated to Oscar De la Renta.

Located adjacent to Lanvin, the 3,200-square-foot store will be opened at 130 Mount St. and will take over from the existing Nicky Clarke hairdresser, who has been relocated.

The exclusive Mount Street is also the location where the only U.K. stores for Balenciaga and Goyard are located as well.
