Haute 100 lister and Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman claims to have developed a “thick skin” after running for governor of California and coming up short, she told an audience at Simmons Leadership Conference in Boston.
Whitman found her experience “tremendously humbling” after investing more of her own money than any other candidate in the campaign for California governor.
