From a young age, Warren Tricomi’s Oren Lankri always expressed an interest in art. After leaving the army, he decided to use his artistic creativity in the beauty industry. Oren started his career under a top Israeli celebrity hairstylist, and eventually went on to work in different corners of the world. In Paris, Oren worked as the Color Director for Tony and Guy, in addition to styling celebrities and assisting in the production of runway shows for major fashion houses such as Donna Karan and Roberto Cavalli. To Oren, every client is a star.
Warren Tricomi’s vision resonates with him because of the brand’s knowledge in the fashion industry. He specializes in color and extensions at the salon’s Miami Beach outpost at the W South Beach where he incorporates his expertise and some 15 years of experience into his work.
When working with clients, Oren analyzes their skin tone, hair type, eye and hair color, and creates a look that will flatter and enhance their individual features. His specialty? The wildly popular ombre color treatment, a process that has earned Oren rave reviews for his exquisite technique.
HL: Which area do you specialize in?
OL: I specialize in color and extensions.
HL: What brought you to become a stylist?
OL: I loved to draw when I was younger. I loved to see the movement and changes in color.
HL: What makes Warren Tricomi different from other Miami salons?
OL: The clientele, and the opportunity I am given to express my talent.
HL: Ever style a star? If so, who?
OL: Sarah Jessica Parker and Roberto Cavalli.
HL: Any styling tips for summer?
OL: We live on the beach, so I’d sad very natural, sun-kissed, rich blonde, healthy hair is best.
