The newest gallery to open in Beverly Hills is the Diane Rosenstein Fine Art (DRFA) gallery on Wilshire Boulevard. Featuring 4,000 square feet of exhibition space, the gallery opened in mid-April.

Rosenstein’s vision for the gallery includes “alternating important 20th century post-war historical exhibitions with presentations of mid-career and emerging artists from Los Angeles.” She also intends on having regular public talks at the gallery with artists, curators and art writers and to visit current issues in the art world. “The local Beverly Hills community would be invited to attend the lectures and discussions,” she said.

DRFA gallery’s first exhibition is called Cleve Gray: The Connecticut Paintings and will be displayed through June 10. Having been a private dealer in the past, Rosenstein though the space on Wilshire had enormous potential for contemporary art. Thought currently living in the Hollywood Hills, Rosenstein lived in Beverly Hills for 24 years, from elementary school through early adulthood.
