Bubbledogs to Open in London

One of UK’s biggest young cooking talents, James Knappett, is opening his own restaurant in London called Bubbledogs, a Champagne and hot dog joint. The concept will serve a choice of 10 hot dogs, which include the BLT with bacon, truffle mayo and caramelized lettuce and the Jose, served with guacamole, sour cream, salsa and jalapenos. Additionally, if you’re seeking a more sophisticated meal, you have the choice of being served at the Kitchen Table, a separate table where Knappett will prepare and serve contemporary European dishes and discuss them with you.

Knappett has previously worked as head chef at Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley, Per Se in New York, Noma in Copenhagen, the French Laundry at Harrods, as well as collaborated with Chef Brett Graham, Gordon Ramsay and Rick Stein.

Bubbledogs is slated to open in June on Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia.
