The competition was fierce as the Gold Cup final was a scenario that would fit in a movie.  Father, Bob Jornayvas and his Valiente I team vs. son, Robert Jornayvas of the Valiente II team faced against each other for the ultimate prize.  The Denver based teams made it a memorable match with multiple stoppages and an injury to one of the world’s top players, Adolfo Cambiaso.

The dramatic match ended with youth on top as Valiente II won 11-9.  To the victor goes the spoils; Robert and his squad received the coveted Piaget Gold Cup trophy as well as the new Piaget Polo FortyFive Chronograph watch, which was awarded to each member of the winning team.
