Taste This: Rémy Martin V Expands Into the South Florida Market

Rémy Martin continues to reign as a one of the finest premium quality product series’ in the world of Fine Champagne Cognacs. But the brand’s new distilled spirit, Rémy Martin V, introduces an element into said world that has yet to be seen, or tasted.

Rémy Martin V blends subtle flavors and sophisticated aromas with hints of pear and nuances of fresh mint through a rigorous distillation routine that ensures optimum quality and production. The Rémy Martin process includes thoroughly selecting grapes grown in its vineyards in the Grande Champagne and the Petite Champagne regions of Cognac, France, which are then meticulously distilled and filtered. The result is an utterly transparent spirit that is aromatic and multifaceted to taste. Vincent Gere, director of Rémy Martin Cognacs and Estates, says that the transparency of the spirit serves as a means of “innovation, with the potential for mixing.” Due to its mixability in cocktails, its attractive flavor and the cachet of the Rémy Martin image, Rémy Martin V will be sure to make its energizing mark on Miami’s nightlife scene by providing the “Magic City” with a new and unique option for libations.

Following its unveiling in Miami on New Year’s Eve with Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Haute Living was invited to attend a special tasting of the transformative spirit during the brand’s South Florida expansion. The private dinner, held at the much-lauded Baoli-Vita, included a tableside expert Rémy Martin V mixologist who prepared perfectly balanced “V” concoctions.
