April Fools!

Yes, April 1 is just a few days away, but let the shenanigans begin.

A16 and RN74 are offering specially designed pop-up menus featuring signature dishes and wine pairings in each other’s restaurants!

Guests will also discover that the chefs and wine directors have switched; A16’s Chef David Taylor and Wine Director Shelley Lindgren will be spending the evening at RN74, and RN74’s Chef Jason Berthold and Wine Director Rajat Parr at A16.

In addition to enjoying the regular menu, guests at A16 may enjoy a taste of RN74’s American and regional French cuisine with a pop-up menu by Chef Berthold.  Dish highlights include Jambon Persillé, Pork Terrine with parsley, fallot mustard, grilled Pain de Campagne and cornichon; Poulet Vert, Herb Marinated Roasted Mary’s Chicken with potato puree, escargots, sweet carrots and sauce bourguignone; and Filet de Porc Grille, Grilled Kurobuta Pork Loin with saucisse de Toulouse, savory cabbage, white beans and red wine gastrique. RN74 will also showcase its extensive wine list.

While Chef Berthold is holding court in the A16 kitchen, Chef Taylor will offer a taste of Southern Italy to RN74, offering unique dishes such as Braised Artichokes with buratta and pistachio; Squid Ink Tonarelli with Calabrian chilies, fennel, tomato and sea urchin; and Braised Devil’s Gulch Rabbit alla Ischia with Savoy spinach. A16’s Lindgren will follow suit with an Italian wine selection at RN74, pouring some of her favorite varietals to pair with Chef Taylor’s menu throughout the evening. RN74 will feature the pop-up A16 menu in addition to its à la carte menu.

If you walk into A16 on April 1st don’t be surprised if you stumble upon RN74, and vice-versa.  No deja-vu.
