Haute Couture: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen Create Capsule Shoe Collection for Superga

Actresses turned fashionistas, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen will be releasing their special capsule shoe collection for Superga, which will be available exclusively at Harvey Nichols at the end of March. The twins were named the brand’s creative directors in September 2011.
The Olsen twins became Superga’s creative directors in September 2011 to celebrate the sneaker label’s 100 anniversary and at the same time the busy duo also announced they will be designing a line under their fashion label, called The Row.
The collection designed by the Olsens mixes the simplicity of an iconic Superga 2750 with a soft, cashmere twist. The range comes in three different colors (black, navy and grey) and each pair features gold rivets and, of course, a subtle The Row logo. The shoes are priced at around $390 a pair.
The Olsen twins have also previously designed shoes for footwear company Toms, which came out last summer.
Mary Kate and Ashley were born on June 13, 1986 and they are actresses, fashion designers and businesswomen. After their acting debut as infants on TV series Full House, the sisters appeared together in numerous TV, film and video projects. Their company, Dualstar, has catapulted them into the ranks of some of the wealthiest women in the entertainment industry.
