FIDF Annual Gala Raises $26 Million

The Friends of the Israeli Defense Force (FIDF) organization raised an impressive $26 million at its annual tribute dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria last night. Proceeds from the event will be invested in social and educational programming, economic support for soldiers, aid for bereaved families, subsidies for soldiers and beyond

1,300 guests gathered at the Waldorg-Astoria for the elegant affair, to show their support for the cause. Attendees viewed video feeds from Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.- Gen. Benny Gantz, and IDF soldier Gilad Schalit–who was recently freed from captivity.
