Barbican’s New James Bond Exhibition

Barbican announces a summer blockbuster exhibition that will knock your socks off, for all diehard fans of James Bond called Designing 002 – Fifty Years of Bond Style. This exhibition will feature on display some of the most sort after designs and styles from the world’s most famous box office hit.

For example, Halle Berry’s orange ensemble from Die Another Day, Daniel Craig’s sexy blue swimmers, along with the white bikini Ursula Andress wore from Dr No. The exhibition will also showcase specially designed costumes by Versace, Robert Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Philip Treacy, Lindy Hemming and Bronwyn Cosgrave but that’s not all, the show will share displays on special effects, cars, production and set designs and gadgets from the movie series.

As of this year, this will be the second London show dedicated to the movies. Hollywood Costume is the other exhibition being held from October at the V&A.
