On 28 January, during a glamorous event on The Pearl, Doha, the Qatar-based fashion brand Toujouri opened the doors of its flagship boutique. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Peter Marino, who has created iconic stores for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Dior, the Toujouri store is an aesthetic gallery representation of Toujouri’s literal translation meaning “treasure chest”.
The launch was well attended by local VIP’s and members of the royal family, all of whom are supporters of Toujouri’s talented designer, Lama El-Moatassem. Also present were representatives from some of the world’s biggest fashion powerhouses, including Harriet Quick of Vogue UK and Caroline Issa from Tank Magazine.
On display, just in time for the boutique opening, is Toujouri’s stunningSpring/Summer 2012 collection. Toujouri’s new flagship boutique in Doha’s burgeoning luxury hotspot makes its mark as one of the region’s most luxurious home grown brands.
