2. Prime 103Opened in 2007, Prime 103 took over the JL East space in East Hampton with a steakhouse restaurant and lounge makeover. Prime 103’s signature dish makes it one of The Hamptons hautest steakhouses. The Prime 103 platter boasts a one-pound lobster tail paired with a 22-ounce porterhouse steak. Prime 103 also offers sushi, sashimi and maki rolls, such as the Hamptons California Roll and the specialty Kobe Maki Roll.

3. 1 North Steakhouse1 North Steakhouse offers two separate dining areas: a bar area with a lively atmosphere and a dining room with a picturesque view of the Shinecock Canal. This Hamptons hautespot uses fresh local ingredients to create its signature dishes, including its famous porterhouse steak. 4. Southampton Publick HouseNot only is Southampton Publick House one of The Hamptons hautest steakhouses, but it is also a landmark for beer. During the prohibition, the original proprietors opened a restaurant while hiding a speakeasy in the back. Now, Southampton Publick House serves as the East End’s first microbrewery restaurant. Be sure to try to IPA Rib Eye, a boneless rib steak served with the restaurant’s own IPA steak sauce.

5. Michaels’ Maidstone Bar and RestaurantThis cozy and charming steakhouse is all about The Hamptons hospitality. The warm and unpretentious ambiance has made Michaels’ a Hamptons staple for 37 years. Menu favorites include the Grilled Center Cut Prime New York Strip Steak with Madeira Wine Sauce and the Cedar Plank Montauk Blue Fin Tuna. Michaels’ also offers a prixe fixe menu from Sunday to Thursday with entrees like the Pinot Noir Braised Australian Lamb Shank and the Crab Stuffed Filet of Flounder.
