The World’s Largest BMW Showroom Opens up in Abu Dhabi

The world’s largest BMW showroom has recently opened in Abu Dhabi. Said to be the largest dealership for BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW Motorcycles, Abu Dhabi Motor has invested $81,680, 000 for the new showroom which spans a breathtaking 35,000 square-meters.

The new showroom was inaugurated by Ian Robertson, member of the board of management of BMW AG and responsible for sales and marketing; His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice-Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Arno Husselmann, General manager of Abu Dhabi Motors. “The Middle East is an important region for the BMW Group,” states Robertson. “We sold more vehicles here in 2011 than ever before. There is tremendous future growth potential in many countries in this region and in the United Arab Emirates in particular.”Abu Dhabi is an crucial market for the German carmaker and the BMW Car Showroom signifies its success. In 2011, Abu Dhabi Motors sold a total of 4,436 cars from BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce, a 23 per cent increase over 2010.

The new space provides access to BMW’s complete range of color an package options. In addition, visitors can expect to find over 70 automobiles and 10 motorcycles on permanent display.
