Paul Nosa to Exhibit His Artwork at ArtExpo New York

The sewing artwork of Paul Nosa, a creative craftsman, will be featured at ArtExpo New York 2012 on March 22 to 25 at Pier 92 on the Hudson. This will be in conjunction with his National Sewing Tour 2012, which will begin in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona in May, and will follow major cities including LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, New York and Washington D.C.

Paul Nosa is completely self-taught, an artist who draws naturally using a sewing machine. For the past eight years of his sewing work, Nosa has put people’s ideas in stitches on patches of fabric more than 5,000 times. He hopes to inspire people to be creative and learn how to use alternative energy sources for their ideas.

The sewing machine Nosa uses is mounted to his Solar Sewing Rover, a portable table powered by a solar panel and a bicycle electric generator.

Nosa will exhibit his fiber with function at ArtExpo New York, the world’s largest fine art trade show.
