Paul McCartney Will Finally Be Honored On Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Beatles have been known for the most phenomenal, music icons to have ever graced the stage, with late great star, John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and let’s not forget, Paul McCartney.  Ironically, they’ve all have been given a star, except for McCartney, who will finally be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, right in the front of the Capital Records building.

Fellow band mates received their stars many years ago, but due to McCartney’s travel and business schedule, he has been unable to receive the star next to his band mates. On Sept. 20, 1988, Lennon became the first Beatle to receive a star. Approximately, eight years after his death. Harrison was given his star, also after death, on April 14th, 2009.

As for Ringo Starr, he was honored with a star alongside the 50th anniversary of the Walk of Fame, on Feb. 8, 2010, but as a group, on Dec.25, 1998, the Beatles received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

McCartney’s Ceremony will be held at 2pm, with special guests Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder to help him celebrate such a wonderful achievement. This will make McCartney’s star the 2,460th on the famous walk of fame.
