John Galliano Rises

A little less than a year ago, John Galliano went on a drunken anti-Semitic and racist rant on a couple in a Paris Café.  Someone filmed the whole ordeal and in a few days, the Christian Dior designer was fired from his position and in essence banned from the public.

Other than court appearances, Galliano stayed sheltered and away from the outside world.  But on Tuesday, Feb. 7, Galliano was spotted at a birthday party for DJ Jeremy Healey at the chic Hix restaurant in London.

Reports say he caused quite a stir when he came in but Galliano was quite and reserved.  Apparently he learned a lesson about the liquid confidence alcohol gives; he was also sober throughout the party.

Perhaps Galliano is taking baby steps back into the fashion world.  During his trial in June, Galliano received support from some of the who’s who in the fashion world, so a comeback may be in the works.  Stay tuned.
