The Silverton and the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held the Celebrity Bingo Bow Wow fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 25, inside the Veil Pavilion. Celebrities in attendance included: Richard “The Old Man” Harrison from “Pawn Stars,” Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin from Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures,” pro BMX rider Ricardo Laguna, Angel Porrino, The Gazillionaire and Penny Pibbets from “Absinthe,” Josh Strickland from E!’s “Holly’s World” and “Peepshow,” “Fantasy” and “Thunder From Down Under” performers, magician Murray Sawchuck and many more.

Each celebrity walked the red carpet along with the dog or goat of their choice provided by the Nevada SPCA. The event brought awareness to the many pets that need to be adopted as well as the proceeds from the event went to benefit the no-kill animal shelter. The event raised $7,000 for the Nevada SPCA.

Celebrities played bingo alongside other guests and some even called games from the stage. Performers for the event were the girls from “Fantasy,” the guys from “Thunder From Down Under” and season 10 “American Idol” finalist Jacob Lusk, who sang a song by his idol, the late Whitney Houston.
