One of the most famous London streets, Exhibition Road, has reopened after three years of construction work. The entire project cost about £30 Million.

Twelve million people use Exhibition Road each year while visiting nearby museums. It runs from Hyde Park to South Kensington Tube Station.

Although the road is much more accessible to the millions of pedestrians who use it each year, the program Guide Dogs for the Blind has described the road as a “real problem” for blind and partially slighted people.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea contributed £14.6 million towards the costs. Transport for London contributed £13.4 million, and the City of Westminster put in £1 million.
