Cruciani Debuts in the Middle East at Burjuman
On 8 February, luxury Italian cashmere brand Cruciani opened its doors within the prestigious Burjuman Mall. A celebrated brand in its native Italy, Cruciani brings its superior and finely sourced cashmere products to Dubai for the first time.
Cruciani was created in 1992 by Luca Caprai, part of the Cruciani family. Luca’s vision has been to offer a product that is entirely made in Italy, that represents the finest heritage and state of the art technology, two things that he feels can only be offered in Italy. The Cruciani brand is distinctive in its creative approach because it evokes not only the work of the family but a new art de vivre; a young, casual and cosmopolitan attitude and an elegance in which rules are creatively relaxed.
With a factory of 66 artisans based in Trevi, Italy, Cruciani works with the finest and rarest materials including yarns such as the “Cullinan” and the “Diamante Rosso”, coming from fibres 6.5 times finer than a human hair. To wear a Cruciani item is to appreciate the product’s unique qualities and the philosophy inherent in its craftsmanship.
Cruciani has come to enjoy global recognition, being distributed worldwide through over 400 select multi-brand points of sale and department stores, including Isetan in Tokyo, Mercury in Moscow, and the legendary Bergdorf Goodman in New York. Stand-alone stores operate in Milan, Forte dei Marmi, Courmayeur and Tokyo. Cruciani has also found a cult following through its charming ‘Quadrifoglio’ (four leaf clover) bracelet that is available in 30 colours and which brings luck to those who give and receive it as a gift. Each leaf represents a particular quality; the first being
reputation, the second wealth, the third health and the fourth true love. Available in a choice of 30 colours and sold exclusively through Cruciani stores, the Quadrifoglio has become the accessory for the next generation in all key markets.
The flagship store in Burjuman will represent the classic and contemporary lines that Cruciani produces with a line of ready to wear, leather goods and accessories.
