Co-President of Chopard to be Honored at amfAR N.Y. Gala

Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard is set to be honored at this year’s amfAR New York Gala Feb. 8. Scheufele will receive the Award of Courage for her longstanding commitment to and passion for the fight against AIDS.

Scheufele has continued to support amfAR for many years, particularly through her support of the annual Cinema Against AIDS gala, which is organized during the Cannes International Film Festival. Scheufele and Chopard are integral in the success of the Cinema Against AIDS event series, which has raised $70 million towards funding amfAR’s projects since its inception in 1996.

Another notable project of Scheufele’s is, as a friend to Sir Elton John, a watch collection dedicated to the artist–in the creative works for the past 12 years. A portion of proceeds are donated to his foundation, the Elton John Aids Foundation (EJAF). Chopard also partners for EJAF events. In 2007, Scheufele received the “Enduring Vision Award” from EJAF for her “exceptional support.”
