Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives

The Centara Hotels & Resorts is opening the Maldives Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa in late 2012, after the tremendous success of its first Maldives resort opening, the Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives.

The new resort will be set on Giraavuru Island in North Male Atoll, a prime location just 15 minutes away from Male International Airport and dive sites such as Giraavaru Cave. The hotel will infuse the distinctive culture of the Giraavaru people in its design. This includes staff uniforms, which will be designed as an ode to the traditional Giraavaru garment.

The Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa is designed for adults guests, especially couples. Visitors can enjoy a plethora of commodities, such as the Spa Deluxe Water Villas with an outdoor Jacuzzi, a PADI diving school and water sports centre, a fitness centre, a nine-room massage spa and even a hair and beauty salon. The resort will also feature Oceans Restaurant, an all-day dining eatery with themed buffets from Asian and international influences. It will also house two specialty restaurants; La Brezza that serves Italian cuisine and Spice Island, which will serve Chinese and Thai cuisine.
