Wife Of Former Moscow Mayor Buys Hotel In Dublin

The billionaire wife of ex-Moscow mayor is expected to buy Morrison’s Hotel in Dublin, Ireland for a reported 25 million euros ($31.7 million), according to Irish Times.

Yelena Baturina, with her $1.2 billion fortune, will finalize the deal this week with Ireland’s National Asset Mangement Agency (NAMA).

Since it was put on the market in September, the hotel has attracted at least three pruchase bids, from which the Irish Times says Baturina’s offer was highest. Moscow’s richest woman said in a December interview that she was living in a rented space in London. It was also reported that Baturina sold her property development compant Inteko and other businesses to B&N Bank owner Mikhail Shishkhanov.
