The World Dubai to Open First Resort

This week The World Dubai will open publicly its first island which will launch its exclusive resort called the luxury World Island Beach Club. Initially, the resort was due to open in 2011 during the fourth quarter. However, construction of the resort delayed its launch.

According to the operations manager at the beach club, Reza Sinnen states “we will be opening in the first week of January.”

The luxury resort hopes to capitalize by making Dubai a possible tourist destination, which could cost up to $10,890 a year for members to join. Not a bad idea for such a spacious property that includes entertainment facilities with a pontoon that can hold up to 80ft yachts, a lounge area, cabanas, and a 100 seat restaurant.
