Russell Simmons And The Diamond Empowerment Fund To Honor Ivanka Trump And Industry Leaders
Tonight, Russell Simmons, Phyllis Bergman and the Board of Directors of the Diamond Empowerment Fund will honor four industry leaders at the inaugural Good Awards. The event—held at the Empire Hotel—will pay tribute to Varda Shine, Edward Hrabak, Rebecca Foerster and Ivanka Trump. Grammy nominated singer Melanie Fiona will give an exclusive performance and D.J. M.O.S. will play music throughout the evening.
The Diamond Empowerment Fund was created in 2007 to support education initiatives in African nations where diamonds are natural resources. The award winners were selected for their commitment to communicating the organization’s cause.
