John Lobb Relocates NYC Boutique

The ultimate name in luxury men’s shoes deserves the poshest of locations. John Lobb maintains an exclusive 23 stores worldwide and just two in the U.S.–an NYC location and a store in Costa Mesa, Calif. At that, it is only fitting that the Hermés owned brand should set up shop in the most exclusive and luxury of neighborhoods. So, after 12 years at 680 Madison Avenue, the brand relocated to a 700-square-foot shop  at 800 Madison Avenue; seven blocks closer to the ever-elegant Upper East Side and more readily available to their regular customers.

The new John Lobb store, designed by Rena Dumas with both luxury and comfort on the fore mind, is described as “very sleek and offers the proper presentation,” by the brand’s CEO Renaud Paul-Dauphin. In addition to the globally coveted shoe collection, the shop also showcase’s the brand’s small leather goods collection, Twinstitch. The store opened with an elegant fete and guests walked away with autographed copies of a custom NYC street scene print, illustrated by renowned French artist François Avril in celebration of the new location.
