Jewelry Designer Orly Ruaimi Comes To San Francisco

Step aside Alexis Bittar, Blvgari, Harry Winston and your routine engagement encounters with Tiffany and Co because a rare gem has landed and hopefully has decided to stay in San Francisco. This rare gem goes by the name Orly Ruaimi. Ruaimi lived in Israel for a short time when she was young before moving to the east coast and has now decided to give the west coast a chance.

So everyone on the streets of San Francisco or the streets of any fashion obsessed district, get ready for this Academy of Art grad student. She might be new to the buzz but Black Eyed Peas’ Will. i. Am, has been seen rocking her modern pieces. Is Fergie next in line? It wouldn’t be a shock if the whole crew started rocking her architectural, raw- modern metals. Her pieces have also been spotted in Icon Magazinne.

In addition to having a Grammy award winning artist wearing her pieces, she just teamed up with an emerging San Francisco clothing company, Sumaroo and spiced things up a bit by pairing up some of her raw pieces with Sumaroo’s new spring trends photo shoot. The will be available on Sumaroo website for viewing but to purchase her pieces you have to schedule an appointment with the designer herself. Ruami also will be showing at The Academy of Art University spring show along with collaborating with AAU clothing designer, Kim Tran.

On top of all that, Ruaimi will host an open- studio event  featuring other inspiring artists March 23rd-25th. Her jaw dropping metal encrusted pieces metallic pieces won’t be the only things up for grabs. Her main inspiration comes from her paintings so hail a cab to 744 Alabama Street and place your bids!

This young gem is definitely a busy lady! Look out for paparazzi flashing their lenses at more celebrities wearing her adornment in the future.
