For four laughter-filled days, the inaugural London Comedy Film Festival (LoCo) will take place at BFI Southbank. Featured at the festival will be new trailers, old classics, masterclasses and special guests.

The festival kicks off with screenings of the new Muppets movie, starring Jason Segal and Amy Adams, and the French festival favorite, The Fairy.

The closing galas are a 50th anniversary showing of the Bri classic Go To Blazes and the world premiere of The Day Off, a legendary lost film of British cinema, written for Tony Hancock by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson.

In between, the festival offers the LoCo discovery screening (showing brand new talent), a filmmakers’ brunch, a School of Slapstick for kids, post screening parties and a two-day course for youngsters wanting to kickstart their career in comedy filmmaking.
