If you’re going to play chess, why not play it on a beautiful high-end luxury designer chess board? French fashion house Hermés has the perfect one for anyone who likes to impress as much as they like to play.
Made from Brazilian rosewood, mahogany and Clemence taurillon leather, the $5,500 chess set is a part of Hermés Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Both functional and fantastically elegant, the chess set has elements of a sleek contemporary design. Measuring in at approximately three feet, the chess set’s leather features are made from the same leather that the luxury brand uses for their ever-popular hand bags.
In the spirit of having fun while still being stylish, Hermés also has other items such as poker cards, bridge cards, a memory game, a coloring book, a playing cards holder and a poker chips case.
