Richard Mille’s watches have always been on the list of the elite and lavishness timepieces, but making a complete sapphire crystal edition is something to undeniably look out for. After creating some unforgettable editions like the RM051 Phoenix limited collection and the Winter Olympics 2010 watch, the designer brand has certainly taken the meaning of exposure to new levels with this all-sapphire RM56 timepiece. Just like most of his other dazzling pieces, this one too will be a restricted edition of 5 units, each with a price tag of a mere $1.65 million.

From the all secrecy that surrounds this exposed and complicated watch, it has now been found that the entire casing has been carved out of a hefty piece of crystal. This means, that each of the 5 editions that come out from the house of Richard Mille, will have been carved out individual sapphire crystal rocks. Though equally scratch resistant, and apparently reflective, it does draw the attention to its bare skeleton of the movement which lies inside. So much so, the main dial has appeared to be rather complex, and makes time assessment a tad tougher than it ought to be.
