Haute Time: Jaeger-LeCoultre Presents the Grande Reverso Ultra-Thin Tribute to “Mad Men”

Jaeger-LeCoultre has been giving their iconic Reverso collection quite a bit of attention in the last couple years with new editions coming out like the “Tribute to 1931”, in honor of its 80th birthday and the one customized by the artist Zep.
Inspired by the AMC show “Mad Men”, the Emmy and Golden Globe winning drama, they have now created the Grande Reverso Ultra-Thin Tribute to “Mad Men,” issued in a limited edition of 25.
Certainly the Reverso deserves the attention of the manufacture. Its swiveling case is not only avant-garde and seductive but also born from a practical need. The game of polo might seem a genteel sport where hors d’oeuvres and champagne are served on the course. In fact, no. Though it’s considered the sport of Kings, it’s actually a rough-and-tumble clash of horse and man grappling to score goals by hitting a ball into a net using a mallet. As you might imagine, many a watch crystal shattered during the game.
