Haute Event: Wynn Celebrates the Year of the Dragon

Wynn Las Vegas president Marilyn Spiegel and Wynn Macau Chief Operating Officer and President of Wynn International Marketing Linda Chen officially wake the dragon for Chinese New Year.

On Friday, Wynn Las Vegas celebrated the Year of the Dragon with a dragon and lion dance ceremony. Guests followed the 18-foot dragon and performers paraded through the resort to live music.

Wynn President Marilyn Spiegel was on hand to officially “wake the dragon.”

The atrium of the features exquisite Chinese-inspired floral and sculpture displays. The resort atrium areas include more than 8,000 red and yellow chrysanthemums, silk dragons and 8-foot tall golden dragon sculptures.
