Framed by the brilliant fireworks displays at Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and Aria at midnight, New Year’s Eve revelers at Chateau Gardens at Paris Las Vegas had great views of the Strip at the bash hosted by Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian. The stunning couple from “Keeping Up with The Kardashians,” who recently announced they are expecting their second child, led the crowd in the countdown as other celebrity guests, including Joel Madden and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from MTV’s “Jersey Shore” counted along.
Kardashian and Disick greeted the New Year with a series of passionate kisses and a toast with sparkling apple cider. The two embraced with the backdrop of the stunning Bellagio fountains and fireworks’ displays. Kardashian, wearing a full-length black sequined Diane Von Furstenburg gown with a plunging neckline and leg-baring slit and Christian Louboutin heels, was visibly glowing as she gently held her baby bump. She accessorized her dress with a jeweled Judith Leiber handbag; a Christmas gift from her mother, Kris Jenner.
“I am so excited to be here at Chateau, we come here a lot when we are in Vegas, and it is so much fun. We love that it is indoors and outdoors,” said Kardashian. “The best of both worlds,” added Disick.
“My sister and brother and mom are all here, too, and we’ve been emailing saying we are so close, but so far away,” said Kardashian of her family, who was celebrating the New Year at various spots throughout the Strip.
Both Kardashian and Disick look forward to focusing on parenthood in the New Year, with Disick declaring, “My New Year’s resolution is to appreciate life as much as I can.” Kardashian added, “I want more family time and a little bit less work.”
Joel and Benji played a midnight DJ set, spinning an eclectic mix to the delight of club goers. The tattoed rock stars led the crowd in a countdown and extended a New Year greeting to the crowd.
Ortiz-Magro sat in the middle of Chateau Gardens with friends, politely ignoring the advances of female admirers. The on-again-off-again romance with Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, his co-star from MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” is rumored to be going strong.
