Haute Event: RPM Kicks Off the New Year with Mary J. Blige

RPM Nightclub inside the Tropicana Las Vegas celebrated its official grand opening over New Year’s weekend.

On Friday, Dec. 30, RPM welcomed top house artists including DJ Dan, Christopher Lawrence and Donald Glaude, who kept the dance floor packed until morning.

“American Idol” Season Six runner-up Blake Lewis was in there in support of DJ Dan.

RPM Nightclub rang in the new year in style with nine-time Grammy Award winner and the “Queen of Hip Hop Soul,” Mary J. Blige. Blige lead the club-goers in the countdown to the new year before performing to a sold-out crowd.
