Haute Event: Dinner with World Champion and NIKE Athlete, Jason Richardson

Tuesday night in Los Angeles, NIKE athlete and gold medalist, Jason Richardson, held a private dinner with friends at the Waterloo and City restaurant to celebrate his 2012 Olympic Bid.

He was joined by fellow athlete and training partner, Carmelita Jeter, currently the world’s fastest woman, as well as social curator Bevy Smith, publicist Cara Donatto, model Oren Wilkes, jewelry designer Melody Ehsani, Blogger/Author Angel Laws and more.

Guest enjoyed a three-course menu at the restaurant, ranked LA’s third best new restaurant opening in 2011 by Los Angeles Magazine. The location held a special significance in honor of the London Olympics for its traditional British gastropub atmosphere and cuisine.

Last year, Jason beat the fastest three men in history in the 110M hurdles at the 13th IAAF World Outdoor Track and Field Championship and was profiled as one to watch in Sport’s Illustrated’s “US Olympians: Then and Now” feature article.
