It’s not often that Guy Savoy is in Vegas, but this weekend, he puts on a special dinner to benefit  children’s sickle cell. Tomorrow night, he hosts a special dinner at Restaurant Guy Savoy complete with wine pairings from Sommelier Phil Park, compliments of Southern Wine and Spirits. Following dinner, guests can head over to see Celine Dion in a concert benefiting Children’s Hospital Boston.

The culinary event starts with a reception in the Krug Room, the only of its kind in North America, where Krug Grande Cuvée will be served. Dinner continues with Savoy’s signature artichoke and black truffle soup served with toasted mushroom brioche and black truffle butter paired with Brut, Grande Cuvée, Reims, Champagne, France M/V; turbot with winter flavors paired with Hugel, Riesling, Vin d’Alsace, France 2009; beef Wellington paired with Louis Latour, Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy, France 2009; concluding with chocolate fondant and chicoree sauce paired with Nickel & Nickel, Cabernet Sauvignon, John C. Sullenger Vineyard, Oakville 2006. Guests of the Restaurant Guy Savoy dinner will also have an opportunity for a private meet and greet with Celine Dion.

The special dinner then moves on to phase two, where guests attend Celine Dion’s “Play Without Pain: Children’s Sickle Cell Benefit.” After the performance, guests are invited to attend an exclusive reception at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace sponsored by Southern Wine & Spirits and Angel Management Group.
