The President Dines at Gotham Bar & Grill

On November 30^th, 2011, President Obama and 45 of his close supporters dined at one of New York’s eateries, Gotham Bar & Grill. The President’s guests included Jerry Seinfeld, Susan Sarandon, and Caroline Kennedy as supporters for his three day fundraising tour. The cost per person was $35,800. The chef, Alfred Portale created a menu to showcase the bounty of American farms. The menu included:

-Satur Farms Beet Salad

- A delicious, 28 day dry aged Prime Niman Ranch Steak served with bordelaise sauce, marrow mustard custard, paffenroth baby carrots and Vidalia onion rings

-For dessert, chocolate pecan pie and migliorelli farm honey crisp apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream

One would have to wonder if Obama’s experience at similar fundraising dinners at Red Lobster and Daniel will even measure up.

Water Grill’s $1.5 million Renovation Nearing Completion
