SMASHBURGER DEBUTS IN MIAMI

Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, opens its doors for the first time in Miami Wednesday, December 31.  The first location will open at 14730 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL. Smashburger brings its juicy burgers that are smashed fresh, served delicious, along with its Häagen-Dazs® shakes, tempting sides and regional menu items crafted to please local’s palates. Smashburger recently received top pick for America’s “Most Promising Company” by Forbes Magazine.

In celebration of the grand opening, North Miami Mayor, Andre D. Pierre, will be performing the ceremonial first “smash” followed by a VIP party with local officials and city notables.

Smashburger is renown for its localized offerings and Miami will enjoy the “A1A Burger” with 100-percent Certified Angus Beef burger, topped with grilled Spanish chorizo, Frita potatoes, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and a spicy Chipotle sauce on a Cuban Roll.

Beyond the “A1A Burger,” the market-specific menu includes vegetarian options like the “Spicy Baja Black Bean Burger” topped with pepper jack cheese, guacamole, spicy chipotle mayo, fresh jalapenos on a spicy chipotle bun and the “Skinny Chicken,” a 100-percent, all-white meat, grilled or crispy chicken sandwich combined with artisan toppings such as goat cheese, spinach, avocado, mango, pineapple or grilled onions.

At Smashburger the secret is in the smash. They start with 100-percent fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef and smash it on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor.  To further the “better burger” experience, every Smashburger is served on a butter toasted artisan bun including multi-grain and a new option for the South Florida market, the Cuban roll.  Each Smashburger offers a selection of nine signature sauces including Frank’s Buffalo sauce and its signature Smash sauce, with a wide selection of premium add-ons including mango and papaya salsa, a fried egg, guacamole, and Spanish chorizo.

The “Fresh Market Salads” are filled with crisp produce and fresh ingredients perfect for pairing or creating a lighter fare menu. Rounding out the Smashburger menu is an assortment of tempting fries, sides, and premium Haagen-Dazs ® shakes and malts.

“We are thrilled to bring our ‘better burgers’ to South Florida,” says David Prokupek, CEO & Chairman of Smashburger. “With our smashed-to-order burgers, fresh ingredients, and tempting sides, Smashburger is sure to become Miami’s favorite burger in no time, and we are proud to join the community.”
