RXR closes on $500M purchase of 620 Sixth

An investor group, which includes developer Yair Levy, officially closed on the $500 million sale of an office and retail complex located at 620 Sixth Avenue to RXR Realty on Tuesday.

The 700,000-square-foot tower is one of the highest-profile retail complexes in Manhattan, housing TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and Bed Bath and Beyond stores on the lower level and offices on top. RXR is buying a controlling stake in the building and the partners will retain a minority share.
