Guess who’s no longer banned from Wynn Las Vegas? Paris Hilton partied last night at Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas with Grammy Award-winning deejay and producer Afrojack (Nick van de Wall), who put on a pre-New Year’s Eve deejay set at the nightlife venue.
Hilton and Dutchman Afrojack arrived at 12:45a.m. and was just an arm’s reach away from Surrender’s resident deejay as he spun his crowd-pleasing set. Hilton was all smiles as he churned out his hits for the capacity crowd.
Hilton enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails and danced to nearly every thump and partied at Afrojack’s table after his set. Deejay and producer Sidney Samson was also at Afrojack’s table.
Also in the house last night: Zak Bagans from “Ghost Hunters” and former Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler, with two bodybuilding pals.
On Tuesday night, Hilton, Jesse Waits, Afrojack and three other friends were spotted at Bang! at Moon Nightclub inside the Palms. The group arrived around 1 a.m. and enjoyed Grey Goose at a table. Hilton used to date Waits’ twin brother, Cy Waits.

Gearing up for SIHH in Geneva next month, Cartier will be unveiling a special timepiece inspired by the 1930s. Another one of the brand’s “grande complication” the white gold pocket watch with white gold chain features a tourbillon, perpetual calendar and monopusher chronograph.

After 18 months of construction, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s $20 million Brentwood castle is almost ready for move-in day. The pair purchased the lot, which rings in at 3.75 acres, for $11 million in 2008.
The 22,000-square-foot manse is comprised of eight bedrooms, a nursery, a butler’s room, weight room and wine cellar. It also features a six-car garage and a swimming pool with spa. A bridge connects the two wings of the expansive residence. The roof and garden have been finished.
According to Bündchen, who was under criticism from environmentalists, the colossal house is green, complete with a rainwater recovery system, energy-efficient appliances, energy-saving lighting and beyond.
Brady, Bündchen and two-year-old son Benjamin will begin 2012 in their new home upon completion. The family will be neighbors with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heidi Klum and Seal.

In the eastern province of Shandong, a new experimental train was unveiled over the weekend. Built using plastic reinforced with carbon fiber and magnesium alloy, the train is capable of reaching speeds of up to 310 miles per hour.
Despite a recent collision between two high-speed trains in July that killed around 40 people, China continues to develop and improve upon the world’s largest high-speed rail system. The new train, which was unveiled by state-owned train maker CSR Corp., is made of plastic reinforced with carbon fiber and magnesium alloy to reduce weight and subsequently increase speed.
The train is not currently being used for commercial purposes and it is unclear when it may become available to the public. It consists of six cars and was unveiled at the same time that a new high-speed railway between Guangzhou to Shenzhen went into service. The railway is expected to extend all the way to Hong Kong by 2015, all despite China saying just last week that it will be cutting spending on its railways in 2012.

The Berkeley Hotel in London has launched “Winter Wonderland” theme within the hotel, and included is a rooftop cinema.
The spot where the Berkeley’s Health Club & Spa usually stands has been decorated with Christmas Trees to resemble a forest. Provided on the roof are Moncler blankeys, hot water bottles and hot chocolate with marshmallows to keep guests warm. As the weather transitions to frostier temperatures, the cinema will be equipped with fluffy cushions, mince pies and outdoor heaters as well.
The five-star central London luxury hotel’s cinema will show a selection of winter classic movies including “Miracle on 34th Street’ and ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ (a London classic!). The cinema will remain open until Jan. 31st, so although Christmas has already passed, guests can re-live the holidays a full month after the new year begins. Tip: book ahead. The showings sell out quickly, and only four seats are offered each night.
The Winter Wonderland cinema package runs about £55 per person. Non-guests can book the cinema only on weekdays. The hotel is currently offering “Winter Welcome” rates starting at £225 per night. That’s practically a steal for a hotel of the Berkeley’s caliber.

George Michael spent Christmas in his hometown of London after falling sick with pneumonia while on tour in Europe. Michael was hospitalized for a month, and the illness was so severe that he was even put into intensive care.
It was a Christmas miracle that he was able to spend the holiday with his family. Greeting his fans from outside his home, the Wham singer said, “I am very weak, but I feel amazing. It was by far the worst month of my life, but I’m incredibly fortunate to be here.”
He then raved about his family, friends and fans who gave him the strength to keep going.
“My family, the thought of all the people I still had to play to, the fact that I’ve been so lucky and the fact that I still have plenty to live for. I’ve had an amazing, amazing life, and if I wasn’t spiritual enough before the last four to five weeks, then I am now. I sent the last ten days since I woke up thanking people for saving my life, which is something I’ve never had to do before.”
