At Design District Annex, located at 1518 Slocum Street in Dallas, the Birkin bag was put up for auction as a part of an important Heritage Auction, Handbags & Luxury Accessories Signature auction.

The Director of Luxury Accessories at Heritage Auctions, Matt Rubinger states:

“This is an extraordinary example of one of the world’s most exceptional handbags, and this was certainly an exceptional price, exceeding our highest expectations at every corner. This crocodile handbag, was one of the four Hermes handbags that broke the existing record price.”

-Hermes 35cm Shiny Braise Red Porosus Crocodile Birkin Bag with Palladium Hardware, sold for $95,600

-Hermes Ultra Rare 30cm Himalayan Crocodile Birkin Bag with Palladium Hardware, sold for $80,663
