Hendrick’s Gin Enchanted Forest of Curiosities Revealed in San Francisco

The most delightfully curious Hendrick’s Gin kicked off a most unusual series of events on December 7th in SoMa as it unveiled its Enchanted Forest of Curiosities for the first time ever in San Francisco. The Hendrick’s Enchanted Forest of Curiosities took the city by (winter) storm with a snow-filled indoor woodland scene brought to life filled with oddities, bizarre performances, and even a West Coast-rarity of a twinkling firefly or two.
Featuring a snowy indoor treescape, fresh moss and a seating area comprised of chopped tree trunks, the magical forest came to life in the most peculiar way as it took over an unsuspecting loft space in SoMa and served as the backdrop to the enchanted guests not quite sure of what to expect. From the unusual Hendrick’s cocktails and canapés served by woodland sprites to the strange sounds of a 1920s inspired ukulele-led band, the curious essence of Hendrick’s abounded as the forest was revealed for the first of three consecutive nights in San Francisco. Guests enjoyed Hendrick’s cocktails created by Brand Ambassador Jim Ryan, including the Archangel, Snow Miser’s Cooler, Alaskan Sour, Post In-Law’s Visit Recovery Punch, But Fifteen “bob” Punch, Improved White Cargo Punch, Hendrick’s Martini and Hendrick’s and Tonic.
“The Hendrick’s Enchanted Forest is but a mere peek into the wonderfully peculiar world of Hendrick’s,” said Joanne Birkitt, Hendrick’s Gin Senior Brand Manager. “Nothing makes us happier than serving a tipple or two out of a wishing well while it snows over a mushroom garden growing indoors in San Francisco. We revel in the unexpected and love sharing the wonder of Hendrick’s in magnificently curious settings. This is but a small taste of what we will be bringing to many more cities across the U.S. in the coming year.”
