As San Francisco is one of the most bicycle/moto/Vespa friendly cities in the states, this would make for an excellent gift for the fashionable guy or girl.  Bianchi, a storied 126-year old bicycle company has teamed up with another Italian powerhouse, Gucci, and created two luxury bicycles fit for any Union Square shopper.  It comes in two models: a white steel single-speed bike and a sleek ultra light matte black carbon-fiber model.

The white steel one has classic Gucci leather, tan colored handle grips, silver trimmed logo and is single speed and more for casual riders.   Just imagine taking it out to Napa for a bucolic wine-tour.  Picture perfect.  This version retails for $$6,200.  The black carbon-fiber model has 11 different speeds and is geared more towards aggressive urban oroff-road bicycling with its carbon fork and hydraulic disc brakes.  This retails at $14,000.  Both models bear the house’s signature red and green stripes on the body.

Outfit both with matching accessories like the a polycarbonate and sun shield chic helmet, signature knit gloves or water bottle.

You’ll find them in select Gucci stores—including Rome, Milan, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas but the San Francisco store manager, Randy can surely place a special order for the riding enthusiast.
