Haute Event: BlackBerry Ugly Sweater Fan Night With Michael Strahan

Last night, BlackBerry hosted hundreds of fans at the BBM Ugly Sweater Party at Aspen Social Club in Manhattan with special guest Michael Strahan.
The former NFL Superbowl champ donned his ugliest holiday sweater as he joined fans to create ugly holiday sweater avatars and test-drive BlackBerry apps like Madden ‘12 and Angry Birds 3 on the PlayBook and new BlackBerry 7 devices.

Throughout the evening, party guests nibbled on tray passed hors d’oeuvres and sipped spiked cider and snapped holiday pictures with friends in the photo booth.
Fans that attended the event scored their tickets to the party, BBM’ing gloves and a new BlackBerry Bold 9900 through an online contest. To win, fans had to submit a BBM Ugly holiday sweater avatar and tell @BlackBerry what BlackBerry product is on their holiday wish list. 12 winners won an opportunity to join a BBM group conversation to chat personally with Strahan via Twitter contest were fans Tweeted @BlackBerry a time when Strahan made a “Bold” move on the field.
