Haute Estate: The Setai Penthouse Villa A Sells for $21.5 Million

Setting a new real estate record for Miami-based Zilbert Realty Group, Penthouse Villa A located at The Setai Resort and Residences in South Beach has just sold for $21.5 million.

Zilbert Realty Group specializes in upscale and luxury properties in Miami Beach, Miami and surrounding beach cities. The $21.5 million price tag on Penthouse Villa A makes it Miami’s most expensive condo ever sold and Miami’s highest-ever condo selling price in terms of price per square footage, at $3,704 per-square foot. The condo is a 5,803-square foot, multi-level condo that is located on the top floor of The Setai. Out on the rooftop patio there is a private outdoor pool, which is the only one of its kind.

The record breaking sale was brokered by Jeffrey M. Miller and according to Zilbert’s Managing Broker, Mark Zilbert, the Penthouse Villa A sale caps off a year of record sales for the company that sold over $185 million in 2011 alone.

Zilbert Realty Group has a global marketing network that reaches thousands of buyers and brokers throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.

The Setai is an oceanfront hotel and resort with private residences located in the heart of South Beach. Its design vision is a sophisticated combination between the rich architectural history of the surrounding area and the serene influence of Asia. The property has an Art Deco landmark building built between 1936 and 1938 as the famed Dempsey Vanderbilt Hotel and a 40-story glass tower with views on the Atlantic Ocean and across Miami.
