Dos Caminos Mexican Street Food Cookbook From Chef Ivy Stark

Mexican hotspot Dos Caminos hosted a special tasting Monday December 12th at its Park Avenue location to celebrate famed chef Ivy Stark’s new cookbook Dos Caminos Mexican Street Food.

In the book, Chef Stark’s shares 120 recipes that she discovered while traveling south of the boarder. The mouth water dishes aren’t your traditional street food- they are bite sized delicacies but with an unpretentious vibe.

Some of the standouts include a refreshing street salad  de la calle with mangos, cucumbers, papaya and jicama topped with a citrus jalapeño vinaigrette and chipotles chiles rellenos de platano tha features the spicy chiles stuffed with plantains with just enough heat to pair with a margarita. The cookbook features dishes that can be made quickly or meant to braise all day. Inside, find anecdotes about the foods and profiles of real Mexican cooks.

Dos Caminos Mexican Street Food cookbook is available at all Dos Caminos locations.
