Chocolate and Wine Fix Downtown: Ayza Open in West Village

Following Midtown’s successful Ayza Wine and Chocolate bar, “an oasis for dessert, chocolate, and exquisitely paired wines”, comes a new West Village location of the same chocolate great.
Owners Aytac Nural and Zafer Sevimcok’s presented a sleekly designed addition to the Ayza family at One 7th Avenue South (Seventh Avenue has had quite the influx of haute new restaurants this month). This cocoa and wine haven offers pairings of the two, as well as menu items incorporating chocolate into small savory dishes and, of course, the Signature Chocolate Martini. Additionally, local artisans like Jacques Torres, Martine’s Chocolates and Murray’s Cheese are sourced to furnish the plates and pairings that launch each tasting experience.
