Batch Restaurant & Bar Opens in Culver City

Last night Batch Restaurant & Bar opened in Culver City. Located in the former Sublime Food Lounge space, Batch’s menu comes from executive chef Salvador Roldan and specialty cocktails are courtesy of Mat Gries.

Brought to life by James Couey and Mat Gries of Church & State, Batch Restaurant & Bar is an 80-seat space located in the Washington Boulevard building. Studio Pali Fekete Architects designed the space, which includes a Carrara marble bar, bamboo plywood paneled walls and two outdoor patios.

Menu items include Roldan’s signature short ribs in Stout chocolate mole, local ingredients, currant-hazelnut herb salad and Berkshire pork shank.

Batch will be open Monday-Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight. They will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but open until 1 a.m. on New Years Eve.

Batch Restaurant & Bar is located at 8631 W. Washington Blvd. in Culver City.
